Bernie Grundman Mastering Installs DigiDelivery Serv|GT

Hollywood, CA (November 20, 2006)--Bernie Grundman Mastering is benefiting from a productivity speed boost since it installed Digidesign's new DigiDelivery Serv|GT, a file exchange system that the company states is faster, more secure, and more reliable than FTP or overnight deliveries.

"We are purists here at our studios," said studio founder and mastering engineer Bernie Grundman. "We traditionally deliver masters for manufacturing via CD, but this new system affords us another way in which to work. It's going to speed up the communication between record companies, producers, engineers, and our mastering operation. My technical team felt this was a great new streamlined way to go, and the system was more user friendly than anything before."

"We installed this system to meet the demands of the industry as it is today," explained Scott Sedillo, technical operations manager. "Mixers can work longer into their process and gain an extra day or two before delivering to mastering. DigiDelivery is a very integrated system, and because there is such a significant amount of Pro Tools-based material coming into our studio, it makes the process of transmitting client's music more seamless. Without an integrated onsite server you are at the mercy of any number of FTP or alternative file-sharing methods. DigiDelivery Serv|GT is reliable, easy to use, and easy to manage, so we can concentrate on our work-which is mastering."
